COUNSELLING

When life feels overwhelming, you don't have to face it alone.

Whether you're struggling with anxiety, low mood, relationship difficulties, loss, trauma, or simply feeling stuck, counselling offers a warm, safe and confidential space where you can explore your thoughts, feelings and experiences, make sense of what you're going through, and begin moving towards positive change.

I offer face-to-face counselling in Stockport and online counselling for adults across the UK

Many people come to counselling because they're feeling overwhelmed, stuck or struggling to cope with life's challenges. You may be experiencing anxiety, low mood, low self-esteem, grief, trauma, relationship difficulties, or simply feel that something isn't quite right.

As an integrative counsellor, I offer a warm, compassionate and non-judgemental space where you can explore whatever is on your mind at a pace that feels right for you. I provide face-to-face counselling in Stockport and online counselling across the UK, supporting adults to better understand themselves, develop healthier ways of coping, and create meaningful, lasting change.

I invite you to explore my website to learn more about how I work. If you have any questions or would like to discuss whether counselling with me feels like the right fit, please don't hesitate to get in touch.

About Me

Alongside my private practice in Stockport, I have spent the past eight years working within NHS Talking Therapies, supporting adults experiencing anxiety, depression and other common mental health difficulties. Working in both the NHS and private practice has given me the opportunity to support people from many different backgrounds, each with their own unique experiences and reasons for seeking counselling.

In my private practice, I work with adults experiencing anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, trauma and PTSD, relationship difficulties, loss and bereavement. I also support people who want to understand how past experiences or childhood relationships continue to influence their thoughts, emotions and relationships today.

Earlier in my career, I worked within Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS) as a Children and Young People's Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner. This role involved supporting young people with their emotional wellbeing, as well as working closely with parents to help them understand and respond to childhood anxiety and behavioural difficulties.

Whatever brings you to counselling, my aim is to offer a warm, accepting and non-judgemental space where you feel heard, understood and supported. Together, we can explore your experiences at a pace that feels right for you, helping you gain greater self-awareness, develop healthier ways of coping and move towards the changes that matter most to you.
